GMR Triveni Smart Meters Limited is deploying 22.8 lakh smart meters in eastern Uttar Pradesh under a contract awarded by Pashchimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PuVVNL).
The project was set up as a dedicated Special Purpose Vehicle to replace conventional electricity meters across a large service area, to enable digital monitoring, consumption tracking, and improved billing systems across the network.
